1) What made you want to do this for a living?

I started playing radio on a tape recorder thanks to the TV show WKRP. The first time a radio DJ said my name on the radio, (I was 9 years old) that pretty much solidified what I wanted to do.

2) As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

 A radio DJ

3) What is the biggest challenge facing your industry?

Programming & Promotions Depts. who are afraid to take risks and continue to follow the proverbial "lemmings line".

4)  5 WORDS OR LESS - What is the most brutal part of your job?

Coworkers who take radio for granted.

5) 5 WORDS OR LESS - What is the best part of your job?

Meeting the listeners.

6) What is the biggest misconception about your job?

That we only work 4-5 hours a day.

7) Fill in the blank ...“The problem with newbies is they don’t know how…important it is to make radio their number one priority IF they do indeed want to make it a long-term career.

8) What industry-related skill/software do you wish you knew more about?

Video editing and web design.
